The Burger King sponsored South African National u17 team (Amajimbos) will hold their last training session this afternoon in Concepcion, Chile ahead of their 2015 FIFA World Cup U-17 opening match against Costa Rica.

The Burger King sponsored South African National u17 team (Amajimbos) will hold their last training session this afternoon in Concepcion, Chile ahead of their 2015 FIFA World Cup U-17 opening match against Costa Rica scheduled for Monday, 19 October 2015. Kick-off is scheduled for 17:00 local time (SA time 22:00), at Estadio Municipal Ester Roa.

Amajimbos were the first nation to arrive in their base camp, in Concepcion, tom help them acclimatize to local conditions. Although temperatures in the south west of South America are quite chilly, they will make for good football conditions in group E.

“This is an opportunity for the players to display their talents and an opportunity for all our players to leave a mark in world football,” said coach Molefi Ntseki.

The South Africans will play their group E matches of the FIFA u17 World Cup on 19 October 2015 against Costa Rica; at 17:00 (SA time 22:00), followed by Korea DPR on 22 October 2015; at 17:00 (SA time 22:00) and Russia on 25 October 2015; at 19:00 (SA time 00:00). All of South Africa’s matches will be broadcast live on SABC 1.
