Bafana Bafana goalkeeper and captain Itumeleng Khune said he was relishing the prospect of playing against some of football’s big names especially goalkeeper Keylor Navas of Real Madrid.

The Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper will start and skipper the South Africans as they intend to complete a double against the Central Americans whom they beat way back in 2003.

The two meet tonight (04h00 South African time on Friday morning) at San Jose’s National Stadium before heading to nearby Honduras where they meet their counterparts on Tuesday, 13 October at Metropolitano Stadium in San Pedro Sula.

“I am really looking forward to the match against Costa Rica; in fact the entire team is just raring to go and show that they can mix it up with the best in the world,” said Khune who added he had shrugged off any injury concerns which kept him out of Chiefs’ cup game against Platinum Stars.
