Amajimbos have recovered from the jet lag and will have two training sessions today here in Rio de Janeiro ahead of their international friendly match against Brazil’s u17 team on Sunday.

Following a regeneration session and a full day of rest, Amajimbos have recovered from the jet lag and will have two training sessions today here in Rio de Janeiro ahead of their international friendly match against Brazil’s u17 team on Sunday 4 October 2015.

“The boys are fully rested and we have a clean bill of health. I believe we will have two productive training sessions today. I believe they have also acclimatized to the humid conditions here and the fact that they will be playing against Brazil is enough motivation for the boys to give 100 percent effort.

“We will be conducting high intensity training sessions this week as part of our build up to the World Cup now that we are 15 days away to kick-off,” said head Coach Molefi Ntseki.

The South Africans are drawn in Group E for the 2015 FIFA u17 World Cup together with Russia, Costa Rica and North Korea and will be based in the coastal city of Conception for their group stage matches.
