The South African’s conducted their last batch of scientific tests at the Johannesburg Stadium this morning ahead of their hectic few weeks before their opening match in Conception, Chile on 19 October 2015.

Although Chile in itself has suffered a natural disaster with the earthquake that struck much of the countries coastal line, Amajimbos will host Chile in an international friendly on 27 September 2015 at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town as the South African Football Association bids them farewell and good luck ahead of their departure to Chile.

The team is scheduled to host a weeklong camp in Johannesburg and head down to the west coast on 25 September 2015, and Coach Molefi Ntseki is more than happy that all his players are fit and eager to travel to the World showpiece.

“Today marks 28 days before Chile’s first match and we are glad that we have this opportunity to play against them ahead of the world cup, we will announce the finally 21 players after the match against Chile, we currently have 26 players in the camp but we can unfortunately only register 21 for the tournament.”
