The South African Football Association (SAFA) national teams face a hectic period between now and the end of the year with almost all the teams in action.

Bafana Bafana, Banyana, u23, Women’s u20 and Men’s u17 will play no fewer than 18 matches until December 2015.

First in action is Banyana Banyana against Ghana at African Games in Brazzaville, Congo as early as Thursday, 10 September.

Towards the end of the month the Women’s u20 National Team, Basetsana, will travel to Zambia for the 2nd round u20 FIFA Women’s World Cup Papua New Guinea 2016 qualifier.

Rounding off the month activities will be Amajimbos, the South African Men’s u17 who will lock horns with 2015 u17 World Cup hosts Chile. The clash will take place in Cape Town on Sunday, 27 September.

October is by far the busiest month with 10 matches being played.

The 3rd of October will see Banyana Banyana return to action after the All Africa Games. They will play a crucial first leg of the fourth and final round 2016 Rio Olympic Games qualifier when they take on Equatorial Guinea at the Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa.

Five days later (8 October) Bafana Bafana will be away in Central America facing Costa Rica.

On the 10th Basetsana play the return leg against Zambia scheduled for the Makhulong Stadium, followed by the Bafana Bafana vs Honduras clash on the 13th.

Banyana Banyana will then travel to Equatorial Guinea for the second leg of their qualifier on either 17/18 October, with Bafana Bafana back in the country to host Angola in a CHAN qualifier on the 17th.

There will then be three back to back matches for the u17 national team at the World Cup in Chile where they will face Costa Rica, Korea DPR and Russia on the 19th, 22nd and 25th.

On the 24th the South African Senior Men’s National Team will play the return leg against Angola in Angola, which will be the last match of the month.

There are two confirmed games in November. Bafana Bafana will be back in action on the 13th when they visit Angola for a FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifier and will host the same team four days later on the 17th in Durban.

The u23 National Team will then compete in the CAF 8-nations tournament in Senegal in December, with a minimum of 3 matches in the group stages
