South Africa’s National under-23 Men’s team will play Tunisia is the second international friendly match on Monday afternoon following their 4-0 win over Les Eigles de Carthage last Friday.

The South Africans will go into the match with a new central defensive pair following the red card received by Tshepo Rikhotso in the first match while Captain Kwanda Mngonyama has been ruled out of the match following an ankle sprain sustained in the same match. Coach Owen Da Gama has named Keagan Dolly as the stand in captain for today’s match.

“Kwanda has a minor sprain which we have been treating since Friday night, it is not a major injury but we have decided to rather rest him for today’s match as a precaution. We would rather be safe than sorry as we know there is still some time before the 8 Nations Tournament scheduled for Senegal between 28 November 2015 – 18 December 2015; said Team Doctor Dlamini.

South Africa will lock horns with Tunisia this afternoon at Stade Olympique Elmenzah, kick-off is scheduled for 16:00 local time.

The team will then begin their long journey back to home soil on Tuesday afternoon and are expected back in country on Wednesday morning 9 September 2015.
