The National U23 Men’s Team is confident ahead of their trip to Tunisia where they will play two friendly matches against the North African giants.

The National U23 Men’s Team is confident ahead of their trip to Tunisia where they will play two friendly matches against the North African giants.

The team held their last training session this morning at the SAFA Transnet School of Excellence and will fly out this evening to Tunisia.

The injured duo of Ajax Cape Town, Mobark and Norodien, have been sent home and replacements Muhamed Zaid Patel and Aubrey Modiba have been called up. Patel was the training session this morning, whilst Modiba is expected later today.

“We are happy to be back in camp as we are like family to each other, we understand our mission is Tunisia and later this year at the 8 nations tournament,” says captain Kwanda Mngonyama.

“We want to plead with all South African to rally behind us and support us in our quest to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics.”

The National u23 Men’s Team will play two friendly matches in Tunis on 4 and 7 September 2015 at 17:00 respectively at the Stade Olympique d’El Menzah.
