The South African U23 National Team are in camp ahead of their two friendly matches against Tunisia on 4 and 7 September 2015 in Tunis, Tunisia. Owen Da Gama’s charges will leave for Tunisia on Wednesday 2 September 2015 and will return on 8 September 2015.
The South African u23 National team is preparing for the 8 Nations Tournament in Senegal from 12 November 2015 – 12 December 2015, where only three of the eight participating nations will qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil.
“This is this beginning of the hard work since we qualified for the “8 Nations Tournament. Tunisia are a tough opponent on any day, and these friendly matches will give our squad an opportunity to play under different conditions and this also give the technical team a chance to have a look at some player in certain positions,” said Assistant Coach Shaun Bartlett.
