Eastern Cape, Gauteng and the Western Cape topped their groups and booked their spots in the semifinals which will take place tomorrow at Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa. KwaZulu Natal also earned their place in the semis after finishing the group stages as the best runners up.

The u19 Women’s Championship has improved tremendously over the years to such an extent that in this year’s tournament has six female coaches leading their teams and of the six, four female coaches have qualified their teams for the semifinals.

“This tournament has been a resounding success this has been a great way to conclude Women’s month,” said SAFA Head of Competitions Jeff Monnakgotla. “The football displayed by these teams truly shows the raw talent we are blessed with in this country.”
