The 2015 FIFA u17 World Cup draw was held in Santiago, Chile last night and South African u17 Head Coach Molefi Ntseki is satisfied with the draw handed to him.

“I have anticipated this draw from the day we qualified for the World Cup and I am very happy with our seeding. We are now at a stage where we can start planning for our group stages. Playing against Russian, Korea DPR and Costa Rica will give us competitive action as all four regions play different styles of football, now the games begin,” said Ntseki.

South Africa have been drawn into group E alongside Russian, Korea DPR and Costa Rica and the World Cup will be played from 17 October 2015 – 8 November 2015 in eight host cities of Chile.

Coach Ntseki will announce his preliminary squad before the end of the month as the squad continue preparing for the world showpiece.
