The South African under-19 National squad find themselves in a tricky situation in the second year running of the Durban U19 International Tournament.

The SA U19 have only collected one point after two matches of the prestigious tournament and may be knocked out if they fail to impress against AC Milan in a bottom of the table clash on Monday afternoon.

Although the South Africans have displayed extremely exciting and attacking football in the tournament goal scoring has been the daily challenge.

Coach Senong’s charges had to dig deep in their opening match against Galatasaray of Turkey where on two occasions they had to score to finally end the match in a two all draw.

Against German side VfB Stuttgart the boys conceded a very late goal which now finds them in this must win situation that is still very much dependent on the permutations of the other group B clash.

South Africa plays against AC Milan on Monday afternoon in the last group B match of the Durban u19 International Tournament at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Clermont just outside Durban. Kick-off is scheduled for 17:15.
