The South African u19 National squad held their regeneration session on Friday morning ahead of their second match of the Durban U19 International Football Tournament.

The South Africans had to come back twice against Galatasaray in a match which they dominated but drew 2-2.

Coach Thabo Senong is enthusiastic about the match against German side VfB Stuttgart and believes that a possible win in this encounter is not impossible.

“We are looking forward to a good game and a brilliant performance from our boys. It will be important for us to convert the numerous chances that we are capable of creating.

“But we also have to try and ensure that we do not concede set pieces like we did yesterday, if the boys can build on the performance of yesterday but also have awareness of where we lacked I strongly believe that we have a chance against the Germans,” said Senong.

South Africa plays against VfB Stuttgart tomorrow afternoon in the first match of the day at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Clermont just outside Durban. Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00.
