Moses Spandeel has walked away with the Top Goal Scorer Award after netting six times in the 2015 SAFA/ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs which came to an end in Kimberley, Northern Cape on Sunday, 26 July.

Appearing in the colours of the host team, Hungry Lions, the former Bloemfontein Celtic marksman scored in every match his side played.

He made his intentions clear in their first match when grabbed three to lead Lions to a 3-2 win over North West Shining Stars.

He was back on the score sheet when they went down 4-3 to finalists Mthatha Bucks – opened the scoring in that match.

He then grabbed a brace in the thrill-a-minute 3-3 draw against Magesi FC – unfortunately his efforts were not enough to see his team through to promotion into the National First Division (NFD).

The other awards will be handed out on Monday, 3 August in Johannesburg at a gala dinner.
