FIFA TMS confirmed today that its Intermediary Regulations Tool (IRT) is now live at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF).

The tool, designed to assist member associations (MAs) in complying with FIFA’s Regulations on Working with Intermediaries, will facilitate the two MAs’ ability to gather and track the required data as outlined in FIFA’s regulations.

Both MAs, as part of their compliance with the FIFA regulations, will be able to generate and publish an annual report containing the total payments made to intermediaries by their registered players and by each of their affiliated clubs. The report will list the consolidated total figure for all players as well as for individual clubs.

The IRT offers users the benefit of smooth integration with the International Transfer Matching System. The GFA and the FPF are provided with full visibility on their international transfer activity and related intermediary involvement through one system, which simplifies administrative work.

FIFA TMS expects more member associations to adopt the IRT in the coming months.
