The finals of the u15 Nelson Mandela Youth Challenge were held at the Dobsonville Stadium on Saturday morning as the country celebrates the birthday of the late former State President Nelson Mandela.

Gauteng girls were crowned 2015 u15 Champions after beating Free State 2-1 in the first final of the day, their captain Shakeerah Jacobs also won the Top Goalscorer of the tournament award with the Ms Gae Lephalo walked away with the Coach of the tournament award.
Western Cape boys beat Limpopo boys 3-1 in the second final of the day to be crowned champions of 2015, Mr Grant Scholtz won Coach of the tournament as the Western Cape had out classed all the other provinces throughout the week.

Meanwhile, national selectors were present throughout the u15 Nelson Mandela Youth Challenge tournament and a number of 40 players both girl and boys were selected to form part of a training camp for the u17 National teams.
