Day 3 of the u15 girls and boys Nelson Mandela Youth Challenge produced three penalty shootouts as the teams fought to make the final.

Limpopo were the biggest winners on the day as both girls and boys teams won bronze after beating their counterparts in penalty shootouts.

The u15 girls Nelson Mandela Youth Challenge semifinal matches between Gauteng vs Eastern Cape ended 5-1 in favour of the host province Gauteng, while Limpopo vs Free State ended in a one all draw which went to a penalty shootout. Free State came out victorious winning 3-2 on penalties to book themselves in the final against Gauteng.

The u15 boys Nelson Mandela Youth Challenge semifinals both ended in goalless draws and the penalty shootouts were quite interesting on the day. Eastern Cape lost 3-4 to Limpopo while the Western Cape beat their neighbours 4-1 in the shootout. These results meant the Western Cape will play Limpopo in the final on Saturday 18 July 2015 in honour of the late Tata Nelson Mandela.

The girls final will kick off at 09:00 and the boys final at 10:00. These matches will be played at the Dobsonville Stadium as curtain raisers for the Banyana Banyana vs Kenya 2016 Olympic qualifier home leg.
