Limpopo were the biggest winners on the day as both girls and boys teams won bronze after beating their counterparts in penalty shootouts.

The u15 girls Nelson Mandela Youth Challenge semifinal matches between Gauteng vs Eastern Cape ended 5-1 in favour of the host province Gauteng, while Limpopo vs Free State ended in a one all draw which went to a penalty shootout. Free State came out victorious winning 3-2 on penalties to book themselves in the final against Gauteng.

The u15 boys Nelson Mandela Youth Challenge semifinals both ended in goalless draws and the penalty shootouts were quite interesting on the day.
