This tournament is a new initiative by the 2010 FIFA World Cup Legacy Trust which aims to foster development and professionalism of football at a tender age.
The tournament runs from 15 – 18 July 2015, where the final will play curtain raise to the Banyana Banyana Olympic qualifier match against Kenya on Saturday 18 July 2015 in memory of the late Tata Nelson Mandela.
Free State girls were the biggest winners of the day as the managed to beat Northern Cape 6-0 in their opening match, whereas the boys’ matches were closely matched.
Western Cape girls managed to pull their socks up after losing 5-0 to neighbors Eastern Cape earlier this morning they came back to beat KwaZulu Natal 4-3 in the last match of the day.
