Namibia opened the scoring in the 17th minute through Katiti Hakuria but the Molefi Ntseki-coached side replied in the second half through Shungu Dutiro in the 58th minute.
Amajimbos were so dominant in the second half that had they not missed many chances, they could easily have won this opening encounter.
“Considering this was our opening game away from home, I am very happy with the result although we should learn to be more aggressive,”said head Coach Ntseki.
Amajimbos will take on German side Westphalia on Thursday, 17 April 2014 at 16h00 with Namibia playing Ghana in the later match.
