18 October 2023 – Day 2 of the 2023 Sasol League National Championships saw two teams book their tickets into the semi-finals of the championships as they each topped their respective groups with two consecutive victories.

The University of Fort Hare were the first team to qualify for the semi-finals after beating Lindelani Ladies of KwaZulu Natal 1-0 in the opening match of the day.
The result placed them top of group B with a maximum six points.

Crouses from Gauteng also booked their semi-final ticket with a hard earned 3-2 victory against Royal Queens from North West.

Limpopo’s Ramatlaohle Ladies missed the chance of automatically qualifying for the semis after playing to a 1-1 draw against the home side Ixias FC.
Their fate will now be decided by tomorrow’s results in the group C encounter

Day 3 of the Sasol League National Championships will confirm the other two semifinalists.

North West’s Royal Queen will entertain Sasol Juventus from Mpumalanga in the 9 am kick-off, while Ixias FC will be looking to use their home advantage when they host the University of Cape Town at 12h30.

The last match of Day 3 will see Lindelani Ladies from KwaZulu Natal battle it out against Royal Wizards from the Northern Cape.

Thereafter, the semi-finals draw will be conducted.

The 2023 Edition of the Sasol League National Championships is currently underway at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.
