SAFA Kick Off Futsal Coaching Course

The South African Football Association (SAFA) through its Coaching Education Department, has kicked off a Futsal (Indoor Football) Introductory Coaching Course today (05 October).
The course will take place at the Orlando Communal Hall in Soweto- Johannesburg, and it is schedule to end on the 9th October.
A total of 30 participants at three (3) per province will undergo a course that equip them with the basics of futsal.
Coaching Education Manager Kenneth `Conti` Kubheka says it is imperative for the Association to develop futsal and to empower coaches through courses. “The intention of the course is to prepare potential Futsal Coaches from our Regions for future FIFA Futsal Coaching Courses that the Association will embark on in partnership with FIFA, we would like to see Futsal teams being coached by qualified coaches within our regions, said Kubheka.
Mr.Kubheka is among the instructors that will be facilitating the course.
