Six more overseas-based players have arrived in the Bafana Bafana training camp for the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup.   Arriving on Monday, 01 June 2009 were MacBeth Sibaya (Russia), Bernard Parker (Serbia), Siyabonga Nkosi, Thembinkosi “Terror” Fanteni as well as Tshepo Masilela all from Israel, as well as Bryce Moon (Greece).   This brings the total number of overseas-based players in camp to ten with two still to come.

Already in camp from last week are captain Aaron Mokoena (England), Elrio van Heerden and Masilo Modubi (both from Belgium) and Rowen Fernandez (Germany).

 

Those expected on Tuesday, 02 June 2009 are Steven Pienaar (England) and Nasief Morris (Spain). On Thursday, 04 June 2009, Bafana Bafana coach Joel Natalino Santana will announce his 23-man team to play in the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup.
