Volunteer Programme for the Orange African Nations Championship, SOUTH AFRICA 2014
A volunteer is an individual who offers him-/herself for a particular service without any expectation of financial rewards but the gratitude of promoting good, and the feeling of self-worth and respect.
For the Orange African Nations Championship, South Africa 2014 (the “CHAN 2014”) to truly be a success, the backing of the people of South Africa, and indeed the entire African continent, is important. The Volunteer Programme aims to bring people from all walks of life together to lend a helping hand in staging such a massive event. The volunteers, who will be the public face of the tournament, will play a vital role in all aspects of the CHAN 2014. The volunteers will provide a service to the official CAF/LOC events and tournaments focusing on the CAF Family, official Venues of the Tournament, Sponsors, CAF/LOC Headquarters, Protocol and other official designated areas of the CHAN 2014 Local Organising Committee.
