Basetsana To Face Zambia In Qualifier

 The South African National Under 20 women’s Team (Basetsana) are in the capital of Zambia Lusaka, making final preparations ahead of a crucial match.
Basetsana are due to play their Zambian counterparts in the second leg of the 2010 Women's World Cup qualifier tomorrow at the Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka. Kick off is at 3.pm.
South Africa goes into this match with a healthy advantage after beating Zambia six-nil (6-0) during their first leg encounter at the Eldorado Park Stadium on January 09, 2010.
Head Coach Augustine Makalakalane says everything is going according to plan in Lusaka and the girls are focused on the task at hand. “Everything is well under control; the girls are focused and we know what needs to be done. This is a do or die match for us and we need a positive result; it is a different ball game and the fact that we won the first leg will not change the fact that we need to win on Saturday.
We know they will throw everything at us; we have to play intelligently and patiently. We need to score an early goal because that will definitely unsettle them; and it will give us more confidence. We have been working very hard with the girls trying to instill a winning mentality, we take every game we play seriously whether we won the first leg or not, the approach must always be the same,” said a confident Makalakalane.
Basetsana will land at the OR Thambo International Airport on Sunday 24 January.
