With just three matches remaining, the Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League is set for a grand finish between Nedbank Cup debutants EC Bees and closest rivals Future Tigers FC.

Bees currently occupy top spot with 65 points, one ahead of second-placed Tigers.

The log leaders extended their good run of form after coming back from behind to snatch a crucial 2-1 win away to FC Buffalo over the weekend.

However, the log leaders have a tricky encounter against relegation threatened Young Ideas FC this weekend while Future Tigers also face a difficult contest when they travel to Matatiele Professionals.

Meanwhile, third-placed Lion City FC are determined to maintain pressure on the top two when they travel to Tornado FC over the weekend. City walloped Zimbane Killers FC 3-0 on Sunday and will be hoping to maintain the same scintillating form.
